Lifting Without Surgery

Plasma Skin Tightening lifts and tightens the skin by generating new collagen and elastin fibers. This advanced procedure uses a device to emit a small plasma flash to the skin’s surface. The precision flash slightly injures the skin which prompts the body to begin the healing process. As the skin heals it reveals new tight skin.

Some potential risks associated with the procedure are:

  • Discomfort: Minor pain may be experienced during treatment. Our office uses a topical anesthetic which largely mitigates any accompanying discomfort.
  • Redness/Swelling: Short term redness and swelling of the treated area is common.
  • Changes in Skin Color: During the healing process there is a possibility that the treated area may become lighter (hypopigmentation) or darker (hyperpigmentation). This is a temporary change but on rare occasions could become permanent.
  • Infection: The possibility of infection exists when the skin surface is disrupted. Infection is very rare. Pre and post treatment instructions are provided in order to minimize this risk.
